What makes being a USFS Official so special? I love giving back to the sport I enjoyed as a child growing up. I judge with skaters/officials that I met when I was at my first Southwestern Regional Competition at age 10. Skating has given me so much as I was a competitive skater for 10 years, skated and toured with Ice Capades performing solo spot with my sister Heidi as "The DeLio Sisters" for 3 years, taught skating for 13 years including head choreographer for Showtime on Ice, then staying in the sport as an official for 30+ years. I have life long skating family as well as new skating family I've only met in the last several years. Our skating family has a special bond.
