TESTING INFORMATION
Denver Colorado Figure Skating Club offers test sessions at the South Suburban Sports Complex and Family Sports Center.
Please, make sure you have renewed your club membership, have the correct USFSA membership number, and have your coach's permission before registering for a test session.
On this Testing Page you will find registration info for in-person and virtual tests, test policies, and IJS test credit submission.
December 6, 2024 : In-Person Test Session
REGISTRATION is OPEN. Registration will close on Nov 22nd.
We are trying out a new platform for testing registration. We will be using Entryeeze for the next few months. Click on red button below to go to the site.
The December test session will be on Rink 3 at SSSC. Based on our available judge panel we will not be offering every level of test this session. Please see available list of tests offered on Entryeeze.
Please make sure you review the test policies below before you register!
Music Note: Music is required to be submitted with the test registration. Please make sure the music has the skaters name in the name of the music file. Example: SallyJonesSilverSingles.mp3

PERMISSION TO TEST REQUESTS
The DCFSC MEMEBERSHIP CHAIR provides permission to test at other clubs and virtual tests at other clubs for our current members in good standing.
Download the Permission to Test Form CLICK HERE . This entire form must be filled out, in entirety, or it will NOT be signed.
Requests for permission to test must be emailed to membership@dcfsc.org a MINIMUM OF 7 DAYS BEFORE the deadline for the test session or virtual test submission. The email must include the completed permission to test form.
We recommend that the skater request permission to test as soon as a virtual test session is selected.

Submissions:
NOTES:
All tests must be videoed within 14 days of the announced test date and include a skater placard.
All files and video MUST be renamed to reflect the skater’s first & last name, level, and test.
You will receive a confirmation email after the test chair has confirmed the video link works and all documents have been received.
Results of the test will be returned to the skater and coach within one week following the submission date.
DCFSC TEST POLICIES
REGISTRATION
The in-person test registration window typically will open 3-4 weeks before the test date and close 2 weeks before the test date. The registration window is determined on how close together test sessions are so they are subject to change from month to month. In-person test sessions are usually held on Fridays or Saturdays. Test sessions can run from 6am-3pm so please make sure when you sign up you are available because you can get scheduled anytime in between that time frame. Registrations after the window has closed will be accepted based on space availability and subject to a $25 late fee. For late registration please email the test chairs at testchair@dcfsc.org.
The virtual tests registration window typically will open 2-3 weeks prior to the test date and closes 1 week prior to the test date. Submissions are due by 9am on the posted test date. Virtual test dates are usually held on Mondays. Registrations after the window has closed will be accepted based on availability and subject to a $25 late fee. For late registration please email the test chairs at testchair@dcfsc.org.
MUSIC
We require all skaters testing Singles, Pairs, or Dance tests submit their music with their test application. The music will be compiled into a master file prior to the test day that will be played during the test session. The DCFSC Test Chairs will NOT accept music the day of the test. Please have back-up music rink side just like in competition. Please make sure the music has the skaters name in the name of the music file. Example: SallyJonesSilverSingles.mp3
HOME CLUB
You must be a current member in good standing with your club prior to registering for your test. You cannot test if you are not a current member of US Figure Skating or not a member in good standing. Please check with your home club if you are unsure.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the test chairs at testchair@dcfsc.org. If a test is cancelled prior to the test schedule being released, a refund may be requested in writing via email. We will not be able to issue credits or transfer tests to future test sessions.
REFUNDS
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to the test chairs at testchair@dcfsc.org. Once the test schedule has been released refunds will NOT be issued no matter the reason for not doing the test.
COACHES
The coach listed in the test application will receive the test schedule. Please ensure you have the correct coach listed with the correct email address.

IJS TESTING INFO
For skaters that have decided to submit IJS protocol (results) from a competition in lieu of skating the formal test.
The following information is required for the test chair to enter and submit the test:
Final Result, which includes name and signatures (Example)
IJS Individual Protocol (Judges Detail per Skater) for the skater's skated event (Example)
Test Credit Report from competition skated event (Example)
Statement (letter) from skater's coach confirming the IJS protocol and Final Result are accurate (Link to Blank Letter)

Changes to Timeline for Submitting IJS Protocols - Approved by Governing Council in May 2023, the time allowed to submit an IJS protocol for test credit has been reduced from 365 days to 14 days from the competition date.
